44 Chinese are Caught in Round Up
Newspaper clipping from the Saskatoon Star on April 2, 1923 outlining forty-four Chinese individuals who were rounded up by the police in Saskatoon for gambling-type offences. The names of the individuals are listed, which the newspaper asks readers to take "a deep breath" prior to reading the list, implying that their is a fair number of "undesirable" Chinese individuals in the city and that the list of criminals is long.
