Lyle Daniels, who was the Chef de Mission at the 2006 NAIG in Denver, CO speaks about his experience in this article. He says that the Games that year didn't have the proper number of staff to complete the paperwork in time, as a consequence Team Saskatchewan didn't find out they were first place until after the Games wrapped up and they were still to receive recognition for that win. Despite the disorganization, Team Sask athletes like Benny Jimmy from Thunderchild First Nation say that they had a great experience at the Games and Daniels also says that he would gladly do the job again if asked.
