Metis Scrip Homestead Files March 15, 1902
Letter written by C. Powell, manager of the Temperance Colonization Society to the secretary of the Department of the Interior for the Government of Canada regarding the quarter of land that would be purchased by the University of Saskatchewan in 1909. This letter is located in the Homestead Files of the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan S42-127712(3). Any further use or dissemination of this letter must receive approval from the Provincial Archives prior to any endeavours being undertaken.

Number of Chinese Entering Canada
A numerical tally of the number of Chinese individuals who entered and exited Canada from 1886 to 1947, or from the implementation of immigration policies to the removal of such policies. The numbers show that overall during that sixty year stretch the net immigration of Chinese individuals was -77,000. This document was created by Harris Ford for easier access to the demographic statistics surrounding Canada's racist immigration policies.
Nutting Facing Northwest
This photo shows a considerable portion of the South Saskatchewan River and was taken in about 1905. The photo was taken from the east bank (Nutana) and shows the downtown region as it looked at the start of the 20th century. The photo ID# is LH-282.
