This photo shows the eastern end of Saskatoon's downtown region as it appeared around 1908. Trees block the main view of the river, but there are still glimpses of the South Saskatchewan along with a bridge and some riverbank infrastructure as well. The photo ID# is PH-2010-212. The photo is housed at the Saskatoon Public Library Local History Room and any further use or dissemination of this photo must receive permission from the Public Library.
FOR SALE Canada's Children Advertisement
An advertisement seen in the March 4, 1942 edition of The Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. This advertisement is recommending buying victory bonds in order to support the war, and how to buy these bonds. Along with this, it says that if the Axis win, the children of Canada will be "doomed to a life of slavery and moral degradation."

Female Labour Laws
Document drafted by the City of Saskatoon on April 22, 1919 in response to Saskatchewan's enactment of the Female Labour Laws restricting Chinese businesses from hiring white females to work at their establishments. There is a letter from the City Solicitor to the City Clerk regarding this document, as well as the document itself. This document is located at the City Archives of Saskatoon under the file D500. VI. 230 and any further use or dissemination of these documents must receive approval from the City Archives.
