In a Canadian Multi-Centre study the authors concluded that when Loftran is compared directly to clorazepate "…it was significantly better on the physician's assessment of the patients change and therapeutic effect of medication, patient Self-Rating Symptom Scale and patient assessment of feeling." Loftran "therefore appears to be more effective than clorazepate in treating symptoms of anxiety with a reduced incidence of side effects." In a multi-centre study involving over 750 patients the authors indicated that…Loftran is effective when given as a single daily dose at bedtime, assuring better patient compliance and convenience. The most frequent single dose was 30 mg taken once daily. New Loftran to untrouble the anxious mind. Anxiety can be treated at night…for clear uncomplicated days. |
