This is a full-page colour ad for Forest and Stream smoking tobacco. There is very little text and a full illustration of two men at a campfire, with the smoke of their pipes creating a scene of an encounter between a colonial power and Indigenous Americans. This is similar to Prince Albert tobacco ads, which also utilize Native American imagery. |
