CHASSAING'S WINE Bi-Digestive with Pepsine & Diastase for Dyspepsia, Indigestion, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Dysentery, Consumption, Gastralgia, Loss of Appetite, Constipation. This preparation of value if founded upon sound chemical and physiological principles. While pepsine if the natural solvent or digestive for nitrogenous aliments, it has little or no effect upon the feculent constituents which enter largely into the composition of the food of man; and there is no doubt that some of the disorders of digestion arise from themal assimilation of starchy elements. New the proper digestive wine, of M. Chassaings, these two most important principles, pepsine and diastase are combined in suitable proportions. -- SEE THE LANCET. July 17, 1872.
